I was just wondering why Tallmen Chat got shut down?

I could never get an answer from the proboards admins, all they would tell me is that they have the right to close any board at any time. So i am re opening a new board on a private server, that can not be shut down, who knows this one may get shut down.
I even asked them to let me remove any posts they though were offensive here is the quote from 2 e-mails

the new site will be tallmenchat.com it will be up and running in the next day or so.

Given the draconian approach with no recourse for users, I don't think we or anyone should patronize proboards with our business. Those ads they force one to listen to after too many login attempts are also very obnoxious. They clearly don't really care about or respect their users (an internet search reveals their unilateral unaccountable approach).

I have brought up the new Tall Men Chat board it can be found at TallMenChat.com we have our own server, and our own forum software, so no one can take it away from us. And a special bonus, I had my partner (a tall 6' 9 man himself) copy over most of the posts from Lanky Men board so we can still enjoy most of the old posts Anyone can view posts, but you have to be a member to create posts or respond to them Come check it out Tall Men Chat |
